Client:

§  The client is Europe and the Middle East division of Office Depot, the number 1 reseller with 9.000 associates and sells office products and services through direct mail catalogs, contract sales forces, internet sites and retail stores.

Business  Need:

§  The client requires an Item Data Collection Tool, to capture and collect Item attributes from suppliers, using one tool in all regions / countries in Europe.

§  The data that is captured needs be exported in pre-defined screens and templates. The templates will be used to send to our suppliers to capture the data and to be used to enter / upload data in all the required systems, RMS, CMS, CSR

§  This tool will replace the NID and NIC, which are Excel spreadsheet templates which currently are used to capture required item data from suppliers.

§  To have a tool to enter all this data in, will create a consistent view and way of working, for all involved parties for Office Depot in Europe

Solution:

§  We provided dedicated distributed teams of optimal size and composition on BYT Engagement model with desired functional and technical competence for development of web based Application for Office Depot’s Staff to manage workflow information at various levels.

§  The solution is built around providing a comprehensive workflow management system which include detailed item Creation through screens or pre-defined excel templates ,Reports/Dashboards.

§  Item Information is kept starting from one department (Merchandiser) to other department (MDM)

§  Automated Emails are sent on at different level of processing of Workflow.

§  Workflow history is kept so that it can be monitored  in better manner.

§  Predefined emails templates.
